This is a wonderful opportunity offering a package up to £34,000 including a substantial benefits package and NO SUNDAYS.

You would be a part of the brand’s timeless elegance with their iconic design, rich history, exceptional artisanry and tradition, spanning over two centuries.

As a Cashier, you will be representing the brand and supporting them in their flagship boutique. Whilst being a dynamic and committed team member, you will focus on consistently delivering elevated customer service and upholding the reputation of the brand.

The role

To provide exceptional service to clients and to support the sales team in accommodating all client requests at the point of sale, in accordance with the brand rules and regulations. As well as producing work of high quality, ensuring the accuracy of all transactions (including receipts, CRM, correct coding, payments and client verification).

Responsibilities

  • Organise and ensure the till area is clean, tidy, and adequately stocked up at all times to support the sales team (e.g. bags, boxes, note cards, ribbon, stationery etc).
  • Ensure merchandise is handled with care and consideration.
  • Process transactions including sales, exchanges and refunds.
  • Ensure accurate processing at the point of sale, including correct prices, code references, payments and customer details.
  • Be responsible for opening and closing the till including: previous day’s banking and reconciliation, end of day cashing up and reconciliation and preparing cash for deposit and safe storage.
  • Ensure reporting is accurate and reported to head office by deadlines.
  • Manage the processing and filing of all documentation relating to your responsibilities.
  • Communicate all sales and cash control issues with your line manager and/or store manager.
  • Work closely with the store administrator to follow up on negative stock from sales processing.
  • Consistently provide elevated levels of service to clients that directly mirror the expectations of the brand. This includes prompt and friendly greeting, offering to assist and answer questions.
  • Maintain a professional approach and demeanour.
  • Work effectively and efficiently within the team, sharing ideas and contributing.
  • Respect your team and the customer by being articulate, immaculate, and punctual at all times.

Skills required:

  • Organised, flexible and dependable.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good IT Skills: EPOS system, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office, Windows etc.
  • Good team player with capacity to work autonomously.
  • Professional with ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.

This role will pay up to £37,000 OTE.
