Job Responsibilities
KEY OBJECTIVES
The Stock Manager ensures Retail Excellence across the operational aspects of the business, improving the working environment and business processes of the Store and provides training, feedback and team development aiming to ensure client satisfaction and supporting growth in revenues.
General Duties And Responsibilities
As a Stock Manager you will:
Brand Ambassador:
- Deliver exceptional Customer Service which promotes and supports our brand values
Inventory management:
- Carry out frequent cycle counts on a weekly basis with 2 yearly fiscal stock inventories
- Identify stock gains / losses when required with authorization level
- Stock organisation to ensure maximum stock holding and to facilitate sales team efficiency
Logistics Coordination:
- Investigate stock discrepancies, to understand the root cause. To log all queries, and be audit complaint
- Liaise with Central teams to resolve any logistic issues such as, deliveries, picking errors etc
- Follow-up on any product related issues with supply team, to ensure rapid resolution and to stop future recurrences
- Supervising Import/Export logistics flows, customs compliance, CITES products flow, relationship with all transport carriers
Operations and Compliance:
- Support Store and Stock Team, BOH rota planning to ensure a smooth running of day to day business operations
- Support management team with any other duties
- Supporting the E-Commerce operations in the UK
- Maintain H&S in the workplace
- To be fully aware of operational working practices, safe systems of work, and risk assessments for all activities within their scope of control
- Managing and coordinating relationships with suppliers and contractors concerning the maintenance of facilities and in-store equipment
- Direct contact with Retail Operations Manager
- Monitoring of operating costs on a regular basis, procurements of contracts and challenging suppliers when needed
- Supporting the Retail Manager with monthly business analyses and retail performance review of TO and KPIs
Communication and Analytical Skills:
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, both written & verbal
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to the Stock team to ensure smooth, roll out and efficient support in-store
- Have a high degree of numeracy & literacy
- Strong organisational & analytical skills
- Understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, WMS knowledge, WMS functionality to enable report production and training
- Profile
Previous Stock management experience (preferably within luxury retail) - An operational background with a passion for all stock related areas
- Proficient in BOH systems as well as Excel / PowerPoint / Word
- A commitment to achieving and exceeding business targets Analytical skills
- Excellent personal presentation
- Understanding of Retail KPIs
- Flexibility towards shift patterns & weekend working Fluent level in English
