Four Seasons Recruitment are partnered with a beautiful luxury, sustainable womenswear brand that specialises in feminine garments.
This beautiful brand is looking for an experienced Knit Product Developer to join the team, reporting directly into the Creative Director/Founder.
About the Role:
- Source yarns for the upcoming season, liaise with mills, requesting yarn cards/feelers and all yarn information
- Work on mood boards and concepts for knit shapes and stitches that emulate the brands key values and handwriting
- Liaise closely with yarn and knitwear suppliers throughout the season
- Ensure all knitwear swatches, colour cards and seasonal information is archived
- Issue stock orders and manage the logistics of the deliver
- Work closely with key suppliers for tech packs and sample management
- Present yarn selction to the CD and follow up on choices with colour cards, test cones, swatching etc
- Issue any lab dip requirements, development, raw stock and sample yarn orders to ensure timely deliveries
About You:
- Excellent knitwear, yarn and knitwear manufacturing technical knowledge
- Experience working with mills in UK and Italy is essential
- Previous expeirence workin in a luxury womenswear brand is essential
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Excel
- Pro-active, hardworking and a good communicator
