This beautiful brand, specialising in luxe sport, tailoring and knit is looking for an experienced Knit Product Developer to join the team, on a 9 month FTC.
About the Role:
- Sourcing yarns for the upcoming season
- Attending fittings and advising design on technical feasibility
- Liaising with suppliers in Portugal, Italy and Far East
- Plan and oversee costing during sampling
- Issue any lab dip requirements, development, raw stock and sample yarn orders to ensure timely deliveries
- Updating tech packs
- Communicating with the design, atelier and production teams throughout the development lifecycle
About You:
- Excellent knitwear, yarn and knitwear manufacturing technical knowledge
- Previous experience working in a luxury womenswear and/or menswear brand is essential
- Knowledge of different stitches, intarsia, jacquards, machines, seamless, hand knits and crochet
- At least 5 years experience within Knitwear
- Strong costing and negotiation skills
